A Different Kind of Crop

Today I want to share some photos of some very wonderful people. The months of February and March bring with them very special occasions: BIRTHDAYS. Beginning with the 12th Feb (just before Valentine's Day)--one granddaughter and one grandson's birthdays, then through that month, a daughter, husband and another daughter's birthday. In March, a son, another grandson, and a beloved sister's birthday. In honor of as many birthdays as we could fit in, our Australian contingent met at an Italian restaurant/cafe for lunch the day before Valentine's Day. This is becoming a tradition for a combined birthday for our family!

Underlying our joy and celebration was a sort of sadness, as several of those birthday boys and girls are living far, far away. They were fondly remembered on the day, and we all look forward to being together again someday.
